I use my Xbox now primarily as a Media Center, so XBMC is a perfect choice.

I use XBMC as my dash, it is probably one of the best programs I have seen in a long time. When I first softmodded my Xbox, I used EvoX, then tried Avalaunch and liked it, but neither are near as good. I have a friend (who actually got me into Xbox modding) who uses Evox as his dashboard, but I don't think he has seen XBMC yet.

On most of my Xbox's and Dual Boots I use XBMC  happy.gif
Media, Games, Trainers, Scripts, awesome skins, what do you need more, and it work in debug aswell tongue.gif

If you are even remotely interested in a "digital" representation of your movies, music and games (the wide icons, etc are awesome) then XBMC is the ONLY choice. I not only have a theater on my Xbox but I have an arcade as well.

The only thing better than XBMC on the original Xbox will be XBMC for the Xbox 360. In time...in time... smile.gif

This couldn't been any more accurate.  I was a long time UX user until a few months ago when I started using XBMC more and more.  When I finally switched to XBMC as a dash, I kicked myself for not doing it sooner.  Much better experience and not just anesthetically.

I actually voted for UnleashX when I was still using it, but now I'm a XBMC supporter.

I rarely even touch any other app or dashboard other than XBMC. There is no need for me to use anything else!

no reason indeed... well ftp speeds are slower in xbmc than evox or unleash... i think because xbmc utilizes much more cpu at any given time? but yes, why use anything else? i'm surprised people still post in this thread... and here i am posting away...

I use evox as my main for intsances if something is wrong with XBMC and i don't have the time to fix i could still load my games through the evox dashboard.

To each his own, but there is absolutely no reason to still use evox. XBMC does it all, even trainers and its very user friendly.

I use xbmc on all of my boxes. The only reason that I use avalanch is xbox to xbox data transfer.

There should be info in one of the readme files that comes with XBMC when you download it on how to do it.

Not hard at all.
