video-osd was messed with and the dev who did it had to leave suddenly, so unfortunately some OSD functions are very unstable atm.

You will know when it is ready. I think there will be a pretty big news post on the x-s main page about it...

A couple of things that bug me about this CVS build.

There are three instances where the audio hardware options are available, whats the point of this? The shutdown menu looks bad with them white lines and bad icons.

Then there are alot of good things about it aswell.

The playback OSD looks alot better, the master lock option (that actually works) is such a nice feature. The new system information layout/menu is perfect. The fact that you can search/seek through a song/movie using the right analog stick, genius!

Keep up the good work.

Pretty sure it means that you can play files from compressed rar achives but it still needs to be uncompressed first so "On the fly" means unrared as you need it

on the fly = movie inside STORED rar's
not OTF = compressed rars (needs unpacking), either manually or by XBMC

I'm also having the problem with the mirror you speak of now, but I WAS able to get it earlier..

However, I'm experiencing a small problem.   When running this most recent CVS release, XBMC seems unable to take any input.  Whatever controllers/remotes/keyboards I plug in, nothing makes anything happen.  When I switch back to my old release though, they work fine again.  So, I'm pretty sure it's not a hardware problem.  Is there anything I might be forgetting which could correct this problem?
