Flashing With Evox?
« on: February 09, 2004, 09:48:00 AM »

I instaled a switch myself but i'm not shure its well installed so if i try to flash my 1.1 xbox with the switch using the newest evox(3595 i guess) whats better:

1.-Use a 256 bios and hope the swith is right so it will only flash half my Tsop or if the switch is wrong will it flash the whole tsop.

2.-Use a 1mb bios and try flashing with it so there will be an error cuz it can only reach half the tsop because the switch is well or just work out.

1: it will flash the 256k bios twice (to make 512k)

2: im not sure what evox will do in this case, just use a 256k or 512k bios  <

2.  it will erase it twice, then flash it, then write over it again.

it has no idea that it can't control the most significant bit.
that bit is your bitch on a switch  <
