I would advise using raincoat over Evox because it supports more chips with much less hassles.   <

It depends on what chip you have? If you have a winbond chip (1.4 or 1.5) you'll have to use raincoat, for all the others use evox.
The highway/Eurasia mechassault flash pack has both programs to cover all chips
and you also get video out when flashing a machine with a focus chip.
cheers jip

HIGHWAY/EURASIA MECHASSAULT FLASH PACK.

Evox Flash : 4d530017 folder

For all Tsop's and cheapmod ( block erase ) V1.0-V1.5 ( except Winbond - which is chip erase ) but will still tell you if the pads are joined ok.   (Dont flash!!! - just check if evox recognises the winbond chip. If it tells you it is ok to flash, then go back to "Flash with Eurasia" and flash with that ) All others just flash as usual with the evox "flash bios" command.

Put the 4d530017 gamesave on to the xbox, and fire up with "MECHASSAULT'
               (X2 4979 256k bios, & 1meg bios) are installed in the bios folder .

Eurasia Flash: 4d530017 and 4541000d.  For Winbond ( "Beast Pack" in Australia,  V1.5 Focus video chip , you get video by running through evox first) then select Eurasia flash, and the "duck will do his job"

Put both gamesaves on to the Xbox, and fire up with "MECHASSAULT"
(X2 4979 256k bios (bios.bin) is installed in the 007 folder for a ("duck-flash") Raincoat flash with video.

The safest way is to use raincoat.  I've had EvolutionX freeze on me when flashing chips, luckily they were socketed LPC mods so I was able to hotswap the chip and reflash.  I don't fancy screwing up a TSOP using it, though, so it's raincoat every time for me.  <

Raincoat is very good the eurasia is too much of a hassle to run a softmod so just use raincoat save file. cheers mate  <
