you use the X2 4979/4980 or the EvoX M7 bios for 1.5's.

Points to use are the same top two points from 1.2's and on.

If it's a winbond chip, use raincoat or highway's flashpack with eurasia.  <

I assume the eurasia flash disc thing should work fine?

Also I saw mentioned in one of those tuts about connecting the points with a pencil?  Has this been successful for anyone?  hell it worked on the old duron overclocking..  <

Pencil is not reliable and definately not recommended.

And yes, the eurasia flash disc would work fine but the box would have to be softmodded with a font hack in order for it to run  <

Forget the pencil.  Go to an auto parts store and buy a rear-window-defogger repair kit.  It will come with a small bottle of conductive paint.  Using a toothpick, apply a small bit of paint between the points in the two places, wait for it to try, and you're in business.  I've done 3 boxes using this method - it works great and is cheap ($6 for the repair kit ;)

I wanted to do a pencil :( :( :(

I think I might buy myself a conductive pen, could come in handy for other projects as well.  <
