I have a virgin xbox and want to flash the TSOP but I need to get the 007raincoat gamesave on to my memory card. Can I do it with action replay, or are there problems doing it this way? I also saw someone mention something called "Eurasia Flash Disk." What's that? Thanks for any and all replies! <

Eurasia Flash Disk is for modded boxes. It's was adapted to work with the gamesave hacks (virgin boxes) in the Highway 007mech Flash Pack v1.0

These programs are the only ones that I know of that can flash a winbond w/o the need for telneting. <

I downloaded 007_With_Evox_Installer_PLUS from #xbins. I have the platinum version of 007 and the plat version of mechassault. Both should work, right? But since I have 007_With_Evox_Installer_PLUS, I should just put that on a memory card with action replay and load the savegame and flash through evox?

The core of my original post really was whether or not action replay is known to work. I have read that only the authentic MS memory cards would work. Thanks for the help! <

Action Replay does work, (or it did for me at least). All you have to do is drop the gamesave on the mem card and copy it to your Xbox hard drive and load it up. As for the Platnum hits version, you might find that it does not work...some ppl have posted that the buffer overload bug has been fixed...so some platnum discs work, others don't. Its just luck of the drawl. good luck...and be sure you have the right bios for your tsop....i wasn't educated enough and got an outdated bios..later...

Will the xecuter 4980 work on all bioses on the market? My xbox is on its way to me so I don't even know what version I have, but from what I've read, if it's v1.0-1.1, I need to make it a 1mb bios, and if it's 1.2-1.5 I need to use the 256kb .bin file.

What bios do you recommend? It seems that the xecuter 4980 has the most features at the moment, and I don't really care about colors and animations and stuff, I'm more concerned with being able to play games off the HD and run third party apps etc.
