Can't Ftp

I'm trying to use FlashFXP and a crossover cable to directly connect my XBox and PC. I have double-checked the IP address and everything else should work.

It shows the IP address in EVox, so I know it's recognizing the cable.

This worked with my old XP computer just fine. Is there something different I need to do on a Vista PC to FTP?

just make sure your Ethernet card in vista is set to static in the same IP range of your xbox's, if no luck try disabling IPv6 on the ethernet adapter properties, if you have more than 1 ethernet adapter make sure to put the xbox's in a different IP range to avoid conflicts

I got it to work without changing any of the settings. Instead of using the Site Manager to connect, I just used Quick Connect, put in the IP address and other info and it worked.

It wasn't working quite right because it took a few seconds to tranfers each file. (The actual transfer is quick, but it lags when it starts each file transfer.) I guess some of my settings are still incorrect. Does anyone know what would cause this?
