Havent been in the country for a couple of years and i come back to this problem

i used to backup my games using primodvd which i cant seem to get hold of anymore and also an old version of nero, now with the current nero 7 im using i go to burn image and burns it ok but doesnt work when playing the games i.e i get to the single player page

is there more prefered burning software or could it be the maxell dvd-r printerable discs?

any info would be very helpfull
