Xbmc For Pc
« on: May 08, 2007, 01:23:00 AM »

yes and no is the simple answer!

YES: XBMC has it's own PC Port and is included with each T3CH build or you can compile yourself from SVN

NO: In the respect that it is not a total port and by the sound of it never will be. It is mainly designed the python script and skin developers can test their work without mucking about on the xbox. There is no video playback support as far as i am aware - audio/database stuff and the gui all work though.

What does look interesting is that what looks like a FULL Linux port is currently in production. Things seem to be getting added to the Linux port almost on a daily basis. Again this can be grabbed and compiled from the XBMC svn at sourceforge.

cheers
