Broken Xbox
« on: March 14, 2006, 05:05:00 PM »

My xbox is broken and I need some files off of it.  I was wondering if there was a way to copy files from my old xbox hd to a windows hd just by having them both hooked into the computer.

                                                                 Thanks

Well since I'm not seeing a response yet, I will reword my problem.
Is it possible to take a xbox hd and a windows hd and connect them both to the ide header of a computer and transfer files from the xbox hd to the windows?
Mabye this could be accomplished by making a fatx partition on my windows hd?

Please Help Me
(My xbox hd is unlocked)

Download Fat-X-plorer(not FatX Explorer).

If your HDD is unlocked, hook it to your PC and switch the jumper setting to master. Put it on the second IDE controller alone(no other drives connected).

You'd probably have better luck using Xplorer360 over at 360gamesaves.com.  It has support for Xbox1 hard drives, provided they are unlocked, or you hotswap.
