Hello,

I am new to this so please forgive me.

I have a xbox v1.1 with Evox 3.6 bios installed.  I bought it a while ago and when I asked him what chip was installed he told me there wasnt one it was just flashed.  Which I am not bothered about as I dont want to go on xbox live.  The company that did Phoenixmods if I remember correctly have stopped doing it and I cant get in touch.   I would like to update the bios now and I have the slayers install DVD.  I belive I have to enable bios updating and I have a 1 meg bios (thanks to these forums) but I dont know which jumper to set or points to solder to let me do it.  I have 2 questions

1) which jumber should I set or points should I solder

2) Which bios option should I choose on the slayers DVD.

Well hopefully, When your xbox was "flashed" in the 1st place that he left the jumpers enabled so you can flash again......BUT....if you want to play Live again you need to flash the xbox with the original xbox bios.....or learn how to make a switch to have both bios's on ur TSOP.....There is plenty of TUT's for this....If you still need the jumper locations they are pinned in a post up top....  <
