Redonmendations For A Hex Editor
« on: October 28, 2005, 03:18:00 PM »

ok I've had my xbox soft moded for a while and wanted to start to get into modding and hacking games. I read about hex editors and I know that there are certain ones for certain games. right now I just want to do stuff with halo2 and PSO. i downloaded hex workshop  but, I dont want to install it unless I'm gonna use it...  so my question is thus, what would be the best hex editor to use.

lol, I just searched hotfiles and the most popular hex editor is indeed hackman's (the one I talked about above).  Since the version on there is much higher than the one I use to use, I can only assume that the problems I had are now fixed.  Unfortunately it is only a free Lite version, so you can only open up to 200KB files, I would recommend skipping that one.
