xbox version 1.6 are not supported. sry.
if you want halo2 to works with debug your best bet is to get a 1.0-1.5. or a real devkit.

I have this same problem, but my xbox is a 1.1, so I dont know why it wont work. Any ideas?
XDI worked without errors, and XIG works on the dash and other games, but Halo 2 just freezes on the black screen.

I'm struggling to get Halo or Halo 2 working aswell. v1.0 Xbox.
How would I change the debug launcher to EvoX if that works?

debug launcher? What exactly are you referring to when you say that? The XDK dashboard or XDI?
Basically, don't use the XDK dashboard or evox. They both suck. heh
Use unleashX. Trust me, you'll like it better. ;]
btw. Halo1 won't work. Just stick with testing Halo2

What does XDI do? I have the basic download but can't find any of the files it wants
Do I need XDI for H2?
ps. Doing the above I can take screens of all my other games just fine with XIG2 v1.3

you should use IND-BIOS 5003 and get the xbdm.dll version 5933.

My solution to this Non Xbox 1.6 problem used to be just to use the XDK software on my xbox(XDK luancher dash) And delting the dxt folder or was it another im not sure you delete one of the folders and make sure halo2 is halo2 and not halo2 v1.1 and it will load fine with the normal xdk then you can use Xig with that to take screen shots.

lol. you can launch Halo2 1.1 in debug.
yes, the DXT folder isn't necessary.
