ok so i tryed sodering my xbox d0 points. successfully got the first one..fucked up real bad ( i think on the second one). so i kind of made my own wire with my sodering wire stuff so it made all the connections....but...i didnt soder it, i put it on with electrical tape because i was fucking it up too bad...u think the connection will still work this way?

Not sure I understand your problem. You don't mess with the D0 to flash the TSOP. What method are you using? If you mean the two points you need to bridge to write enable it, the try a Trace Repair Pen, if the soldering failed. You can get one at Contact East

yes those points....like i think i disconnected the wire going to one of the two points...so i took a very very small piece of unmelted sodder and make it so it touched everything it need to and taped it on...what would that pen do?

liquid metalic or conductive paint

kind of stuff they use to repair heated windscreens/shield - or in very fine pens used to repair tracks

allow to dry for a bit - then it will allow current to flow along it

if using a fine tip should be easy - if using a pot of it then apply with a cocktail stick, if unsure mask surrounding areas to avoid spills

also how will i know if the points to enable are connected right?...like other than looking at it

there are 2 dots at 2 different locations

both are about 2-3mm apart - they get linked by solder/conductive paint

if they aren't done correctly the tsop is not write-able coz need them BOTH bridged properly to flash

it will flash or it won't flash

if you flash the tsop with say xecuter 2 4979.06 it will say XECUTER 2 under the green X screen so ya know it has flashed ok
(if you used a M7 it will say MS as per usual)

if you got a decent backup or evox dash installed it will load

suggest you do a little more reading up first though before you steam in.

if using a ST bios then 007 evox will work best

if a winbond then raincoat or eurasia is what you need

make sure you use correct bios size though 007 evox will pad a 256 to a 1mb but still be careful if using raincoat
