The fellows at xbins don't seem to care for XDI very much because they think that anyone who can't install debug themselves shouldn't be messing with it. Yes, it's true that if used improperly setting up the XDK can hose your box, but XDI doesn't use all the XDK files so the chances are massively remote.

Anyway, please go ahead and list the steps you've taken and the problems/questions you have. Don't bother with #xbins anyway.

Sorry pal I can't tell you where to get the files. Best I can say is to read the readme.txt file that came with the program you downloaded. It will have some information for you there. Additionally, you could ask on the ChaosOrder forums and you might get a slightly better answer. Good luck.

XCK? What is that?  If that is the app that allows you to edit bios settings then don't use it. It sucks. Do everything by hand.

Xbox Capture Kit.  Movie Capture capablities.  I am completely untrained in BIOS work, so i'm leaving that alonge.  Does this support video capture?  (specifically Halo and Halo 2)

I already have XIG2, and it takes some mighty fine screenshots.  Will you be supporting XCK in the future?  It works when Halo isn't running which makes me think that my Xbox doesn't have enough RAM, and I don't really want to solder in some more.  Oh well.  Thanks anyway!

You can't take screenshots of Halo1. You can take screenshots of Halo2. You can't take videos of either (You can of Halo2, but there will be artifacts and certain things missing).

That assumes you only have 64MB of RAM. Soldering in more is a huge pain. If you are up to the challenge have fun, but if you aren't too familiar with soldering it would be wise to save urself an xbox.  ;]

I will not be supporting XCK as all it is, is XDI included with standard XDK applications. My programs are so people don't have to use the XDK (with the exception of the dll).

i can't get videos to run at all outside of the dashboard and linksboks, but that's okay.  i won't be using it too much anyway.  screenshots work well enough, if only I could get trainers to run... but that's another story.  thanks a lot, great app
