I have installed the debug correctly(I can get screens in every game I own) but of course Halo 2 has to be stupid. When I load off my HDD I fail to load everymap. I'm on 1.0 and I have cleared my cache. Any ideas?

Edit: I can launch off of my disc, but not off my HDD. Maybe its my xbox. Its a 1.6.

Okay, I get a black screen after I load the XR8D Immage Grabber, and it says "Loading IND-BIOS", and then there's a black screen, and nothing. I installed veverything correctly, used the v1.0-1.5 option, nothing.

Don't worry about a video recorder I have just realised I already had one

(xbmovie). This is much better than buying a capture card.

ok i got XDI V.1.3, so i opened it up read the Readme.txt and and filled everything correctly butwhen i hit install debug i says "Default.xbe Checksum Incorrect. Use PBL Loader?" and i click yes and it says in the little status bar "checksum Failed for pbl.xbe!"

so does this mean the debug installed or do i need some files for this or for my xbox.

oh and on my xbox theres a boot.cfg file on it will that work for the XDI

and do i need all the files for the 1.6 folder if i have a v.1.1 xbox.

Edit: ok found all the files for XDI except for default.xbe and pbl.xbe

Ok i can get the files. But my FTP is effed up. Is there a way to install from a CD-RW and Avalaunches File manager?

i have compiled ALL the required files in order for you to successfully install the debug on your xbox. (including xbdm.dll ver.5933). So if anyone wants them, its in .Rar format can pm me or email me at defjamz_mir88athotmaildotcom. I do not take credit for them.

i have one last question (hopefully) ive been trying to figure this out for awile

i got the correct debug installer packet that xenoxzi was giving out so i need to know what dashboard file i patch it to. i have UnleashX dashboard with waffle zone tools installer, And there are to .xbe files in the c drive one in the root of the c drive thats called xboxdash.xbe and on in C/Dashboard/ theres an x default.xbe. and also do i use the boot.cfg found in the package i got or the one in my xbox.

also i have a softmodded xbox if you already don't know.

I finnally got it to work. i had to read this whole topic and found out i had to delete the default.xbe and rename pbl.xbe to default.xbe so now it works. xig doesn't work but X-C-K is great. but i can't take videos in xck while playing halo 2 but i can take pics. its awesome.

well i can't take videos while playing halo 2. and when i load a debug bios i clears my cache which is alitle annoying but ill live with it.
