no there isn't right now. you could always copy the dashboard to the root of the partition you choose. that way whenever the debug bios is run it will go to whichever dashboard you copy there. <

Every time I run the program on my Xbox it loads two logos, then freezes at a black screen. Even more annoying is the fact that I have to power cycle my wireless adaptor for this computer every time I open that program on my Xbox (it disconnects me for some reason) Any help?

loading XDI displays 2 logo's?  eh, i'm sorry but i havn't added any logo's to it at all. XDI should open up to a GUI and that's all. plus, the only network related functions is grabbing your pc ip, netmask, etc.

now, if your talking about XIG2. that does have a logo. but it's only visible on the main GUI. there is no splash screen or anything.

hopefully i can figure out what's going on, but i need more detail on what your doing.
when it errors, what program your running. the filename.exe, operating system, service pack, etc. <

Sorry, I had things confused. Whenever I run "XR8D Xbox Image Grabber" it loads a screen with flames that says "Loading BIOS", then another screen flashes fairly quickly with white text, then it freezes, then I lose connection on my PC. I guess I posted in the wrong thread :/

I haven't downloaded this Debug Intaller yet because a got a few questions:

1. This installs PBL on my E: Drive?
2. I run PBL under Evox and select the Debug BIOS?

I dont want to run the Debug BIOS all the time. I want to use my orignal BIOS on my modchip when playing games etc. I only want the Debug BIOS when running XIG2. <

Alright... I ran it again and it's still freezing, but I'm not losing conenction anymore. That was probobly my fault, I just set up a WLAN yesterday. It freezes when it tries to load the BIOS. <

This installs FBL/PBL to wherever your applications directory is.
you will run an application called "XR8D xbox image grabber" from your applications menu. This will not flash your chip. It is simply BFM.

where is your evoxdash.xbe file located? give me the full path to it.
also, what version of xbox do you have? XDI 1.1 does not support 1.6 xbox's.

i just finished XDI 1.2 with 1.6 support and gave it crc32. that way i can host the file and let the enduser download all the appropriate files.
1.2 is still in testing, have to make sure it works correctly. but so far so good.

I have a v1.0 Xbox. I couldn't find evoxdash.xbe anywhere, so I pointed XIG2 to xboxdash.xbe, which is located at C:/xboxdash.xbe.

ok, i'm guessing you have a softmod then right?

if that's the case, paste your dashboard.xbx file located on the root of your E partition. <

BFM stands for Boot From Media.  It means you don't need to flash your chip.

also, XDI 1.2 will be released tonight or tomorrow.

supports 1.6, and custom paths in dashboard.xbx <
