ok, this is for anyone who needs help setting up a debug bios on their xbox's.
this does not work with 1.6/1.6b xbox's. read the readme.txt and have fun.

this can be found in the semi usual places.

the installer will configure and FTP pbl, debug bios, ini, xbx, dll, etc. to your xbox for ya. i hope this helps you all.

it containes an XDK file, so it won't be hosted in the "usual" places.

Anyone who want the NZB file just drop me your e-mail using PM or E-mail. I don't know Xbox-scene's policy on NZB files but they probably don't have a problem with it, if you guys do have a problem with it just PM me and i'll edit this.

Followed the guide -- bios loaded but I couldn't ping the the dash and debug with DOS command prompt. It keeps saying "could not find host".

Right. I've downloaded a ping utility and it pings the Xbox dash IP, but not the debug bios IP.

Try to ping it at port 731.

just run XIG2, stick in your debug ip and hit test debug. if nothing shows up then something's wrong. dds2.exe should close itself from the process list after it timeouts. so you can either close it manually or wait. just a little fyi.

This program wont work for me, i cant get it to laod the bios. Ive been trying it since may 3rd. And ive been trying to get help on the xr8d forum, still not working so far.

right well, why don't you paste your xbdm.ini and dashboard.xbx info here.
what version xbox do you have?
what's the path to your dashboard? ex. C:\evoxdash.xbe

I've already got this set up for me Drilus, but I'm setting up for a friend now.
There isn't a way to set it up for:
E:\Dashboard\default.xbe is there? As thats where the auto-installer softmod dashboards go!
