Works good for the most part.
The only thing that bugs me is, if you press capture and the xbox isn't ready, the DDS2.exe is launched and doesn't terminate. I have to kill it manually.
Could the dd2.exe code be part of the xig2.exe or a DLL instead?

Also that transparentancy slider is sort of silly.

It's a useful app, glad you spent time making it.
Thanks, Mike

hehehe. yeah, the transparency slider is silly. i was thinking about that after i had released XIG2 1.0.  I was thinking about turning into a timer bar. that way to edit the timer iinterval you would have to use the slider. so you couldn't make it go under 10 seconds.  Not really sure on that though.

I'm redoing the socket code in an attempt to make captures quicker. So i'll get all these little bugs and features in 1.1.

i made dds2.exe separate because i wanted other developers to be able to create clients on their own. if it was all in one the code would be much too confusing. i'm working on a timeout for dds2 but since i coded the socket routine using winsock i'm having difficulties. lol.

thx for your suggestions and comments. it should all be mostly fixed in 1.1  :D

Well finally got it to work and hers a few comments

the file naming standard is really bad in my opinion somthing more like this would be better

(2005-4-8)_XboxCapture_1.bmp
.
.
.
(2005-4-8)_XboxCapture_15.bmp

that way explorer sorts them better when viewing by name

Also the bmp images seem to be of a non standard format as my image viewer can't display them but my editor can

Someone should set up a debug Xbox server so everyone without a debug Xbox can connect to it.

I have been fiddling around with the program and got it to work. Thanks for your work,it makes nic pics, alltough a little dark. I have a few comments.

The program crashes on xbmc dash, altough it says the debug service runs correctly. When a game is started it runs fine.

Too bad the f drive isnt supported. However, i dont know if this is caused by the program or the bios. I have tried several bfm debug bioses but none works. It would be really great if there's is a solution for this.

All said and done i am most happy with this app.
