Orig. Mechassault Game Won't Load

Okay,

My box is already modded with an openxbox, I am just tired of dealing with external flashing and want to  flash the tsop so I can flash from a cd.  Anyways I have read all of the tutorials and have everything ready to go.  Gamesave is on hard drive and all.  I have also put my original MS dash back as xboxdash.xbe.  So my box boots up stock when I unhook my chip.

Now for the problem, the damn Mech Assault game won't boot up.  I have tried with the mod chip enabled or disabled.  It gives me the dirty disc error.  No when I ftp into the box I can access the D drive and all of the Mech files so the drive is reading it.  For some reason it won't load though.

For reference I have never played Live or Mechassault  before.

Using a 1.0 V xbox.

Possibly Mech doesn't like my old dash?

Pulling the rest of my hair out here so any help would be greatly appreciated.
