I found a bug when trying to transfer files that had an underscore. The names of the files on my computer with underscores were replace with "-" as there name.

Just to let you know I think this program is a success and a big help to me. (I hate having to rip my entire cd collection slowly onto the xbox then rename it manually with a controller, sheesh!)

Thanks BlueCell

ok... i was having problems with this program, and i came to the forums looking for answers to them. nobodya had them, so i decide to search for myself. i think i have figured it out... ive put on maybe 4-5 soundtracks no problem  biggrin.gif this is what i did... go into options, and go to formats, hit select all, and then go down to the bottom and set it to 192kbps, next go to virtual drive and make sure thats not ticked, go to id tags, and make sur the only one that is ticked is show local music files bitrate... i did that and now i dont have a problem... idk which part actually made a difference  uhh.gif but i know it worked, and im happy

this worked for me too!  thx man!   me now ===> biggrin.gif

Looks great. The splash screen is clean and stylish. Here's a bug I encountered in the first minute of using it:

If you resize the window too small in either the horizontal or vertical direction (it happens for both), I get a "Run-time error '380': Invalid property value" error window. The program then crashes and exits.

I was just decoding the st.db file by hand before I found your program. Do you still need help with that or are you all set?

edit: I'm working with Build 101904.

I'll add stuff as I find it:

If I maximize the Search window, the file results window retains its original size and does not expand to fit the maximized window. It doesn't change size at all, in fact, because reducing the size of the window also has no effect on it. If you don't want to mess with dynamically resizing the results window, maybe just remove the resize functionality.

The listing of music in the main window has no names in it, even for music that has the correct id3v1 and id3v2 tags:

But if anyone wants to do it let me know and i'll send you the code (VB6).

Running build 101904

When i open it, i enter my ip - uid - pass and press connect. It connects and then says reading databases and i get the following error:

Runtime error '35602':

Key is not unique in collection.

Now, if I delete (move to another location) E:\TDATA\fffe0000\music\ st.db I don't get the runtime error..however when I attempt to create a new soundtrack I get this error:

Run-time error '9':
subscript out of ran

To recreate st.db i have to use xbox soundtrack editor because I don't have access to the MS dash.

Suggestions?

Thanx.

Try copying all the DLL's to your windows/system32 folder.  If that doesnt work then just wait 2 - 3 weeks when I'll be releasing a newer version.
