Ive downloaded .NET 1.1 and no other app has ever given me this error

I doubt this could solve anything, since VXCR is written in VB6 and does not rely one bit on the .NET framework  biggrin.gif  Still good to have it installed though, as more and more applications use it...

Hey,

Sorry it took so long for me to respond.  But for those of you with the Sound Track Error, if its not to big of a deal try to delete your ST.DB file then using the Dashboard Rip one song to it (that way you have a new st.db) then it should work.

For those of you that arent able to run the application, try this:

Start | Run
then type in regsvr32 ocxs

replace the ocxs with the third party controls path and name...so example

regsvr32 c:\vxcr\TAB.ocx

thats just an example and a fake name, just to give you a idea.

Ok, I g2g and finish up some SPS Programming, but i'll check the forum again today

blue cell, it really messes the sountrack database up... even sountracks its uploaded... the new build works better for me than any of the old builds, but these bugs make a great program unusable.

thanks for the effort man, i'll keep testing the betas.

I tried the new build. The build works like the previous one, but the following problems remain:

1) Uploading, say, 19 tracks, replaces some previous tracks (after the upload, only 14 tracks are visible in Virtual Ripper's track list). MS Dashboard shows all tracks but there are several tracks named "Track 1", "Track 2" with length of 0:00.

2) Trying to upload tracks from a MP3 CD results in "Error 17" and "Run-time error 13". If I copy the tracks from the CD to my computer's hard drive, I can upload them.

biggrin.gif this is what i did... go into options, and go to formats, hit select all, and then go down to the bottom and set it to 192kbps, next go to virtual drive and make sure thats not ticked, go to id tags, and make sur the only one that is ticked is show local music files bitrate... i did that and now i dont have a problem... idk which part actually made a difference  uhh.gif but i know it worked, and im happy

i am starting with a fresh drive and don't have the original ms dash anymore (or at least cant get it to work for the life of me, since modding it only does error21)

anyways i have the music dir, but no st.db, and when i try to create one in VXCR i just get error 9 and the program quits!

i don't get what's wrong...

All this bitchin is more proof that people don't know what "beta" software means.

It's a catch 22 for the developers.

If they release it early, you get idiots that bitch cuz it doens't work 100%

If you wait till "it's ready" then idiots bitch cuz they're waiting too long.

Meanwhile, nobody appreciates that these developers are doing this for FREE on their own time for ALL OF US to benefit from.

This app has great potential.  Just give it time, people!

you're right man! cool.gif
