You can access the internet on your TV if you install linux.  I believe Linux's browser is Mozilla.  <

Recently came across a program called Linksbox that is supposed to be a native www browser for the xbox. Haven't had a chance to install it though. Maybe someone else has tried this out?  <

yea, i've tried it.  no keyboard support, but you use the standard xbox controller to type, its an original keyboard layout, its an alright browser, lagged when i visited xbox-scene.com though (probably b/c of flash and whatnot) anywho, its alright for casual browsing and just checkin up on stuff, not real good for 'surfing'  <

Another alternative to surfing the web on xbox with no install required , runs straight from CDRW or DVD-r ...Dynabolic linux distro .. works on Xbox or PC .
Works with keyboard and mouse or controller.
If your using DCHP lookup on your network then it's a case of launch and surf.

For more info and download of Dynabolic try here ----> http://dynebolic.org/

It's free and it's legal , what more could you ask for.

You'll need to furnish the xbox with the internet connection from the pc. In XP you can use a network bridge (2 NICS required) or ICS. Search the tuts for Mr Robinsons networking guide, it has instructions for ICS. This will get you going. <

Hi All,

Where the heck do you get linksbox from?  I've been looking for hours and can't find it.

Feel free to email a link directly if it can't be posted at dj.jimmi<at>gmail.com

Thanks!
