I'll second the confirmation for it not working with I-Ninja, and add another one to the list: it doesn't work with Goblin Commander either.

Which release of I-Ninja? Does extracting it from iso with SUXX work?

I can't answer this question any more....  I unrar'd and extracted the iso the long way after seeing that it didn't work with SUXX, though.

Not quite sure what's going on, but I can't seem to get this program working properly at all. Every time I try it just cycles through all the files saying:

2/22/2004 9:48:18 AM 553 Requested action not taken.

If this is just because I'm an idiot, feel free to flame me. If not, please help.

Feel free to post just a tiny bit more details, like which drive on the xbox are you (trying to) transfer files to and how big it is, what the target directory is, whether or not any other tools work. Also a bit more of the error log would be nice (like 20 consecutive lines)..

Uhm... I can only fix actual bugs people report, not bugs like 'it does not work'. Post some more details and I might be able to help..

Fine.  I'm pretty sure this stuff got posted earlier in the thread - thats why I didn't repost it.  Anyway, trying to ftp over INinja (rar'ed) gives this error

I'll try Deus Ex 2 if you like, but I think it gives a very similar error so if you fix this one you may fix all of them.  Thanks

edit: same thing happens if I unrar and try to ftp the iso over with suxx.  Same error, same place.  So its not the unrar code.

I got this tool to upload Ninja Gaiden fine but now I've tried 3 more games and none of them work =[. It will transfer the first 2 or 3 files then error out 10054. can anyone confirm ESPN nfl 2k4, Hitman2 , ESSPN Basketball not working? Any ideas if this program will be updated? it really is handy for those of us with low HD space ! !

Thanks

Okay ughugh...having a lot of trouble with my Suxx 1.02.  First thing's first, and this is something you should probably note in the readme since I bet a lot of folks here use it, NetLimiter breaks Suxx.  It causes the ftp transfers to randomly fail when running, and you have to select "ignore all traffic" in NetLimiter's info (1.29) to keep it from doing that.

That said I was transferring my own rar'd copy of Panzer Dragoon Orta (I own the game, I just had it backed up) and I received an Error: Out of memory.  The error message is below.  After clicking okay, it looked like it continued to transfer files, and gave me that error message before the beginning of the next file transfer.  Sorry for the length.  I'm using WinRAR 3.30 to RAR (on best mode) and XISO Gui for XISO to ISO the files.

For debugging thoughts...just an idea, this program takes a LOT of memory, drastically more than anything I've run short of Jasc Paint Shop Pro or some of my 3D Renderers (like 80 megs).  I was in the process of transferring over 30 (legal) backups, so I wonder if you don't have a memory leak in your code.  My line of thought continues further when I (now) have transferred Panzer Dragoon Orta fine as if nothing had ever happened before.  Also, I have 1 gig of DDR RAM (OCZ, nice stuff), did an extensive test for faulty memory after this incident, and at idle I'm only using 300 megs of RAM (and this program was on overnight, with no one on the machine and nothing happening to the machine):

By the way, regarding Qwix...I'm not sure I understand why everyone is giving you so much trouble...I didn't think Qwix did RARs...

Geez remind me not to design any software if this is the way devs are treated.  Unless he stole the source code its his program so lay off.  Secondly perhaps similar names for similar apps is a good thing.  I really hate having no idea what a new app is all about.  Lastly, Qwix is extremely buggy.  As is almostevery other program out there.  I've never managed to complete a direct to ftp extract with Quix.  Fatal errors everywhere.  It served me fine before I found real alternatives though.  The flaws I've found in this program can be worked around atleast, but as stated in his txt, the rar engine is slow, but atleast direct to ftp works. BTW I love the fact that you can see the raw ftp output.  Very helpful!  And perhaps the rar engine can be improved in future releases.  Gotta admit I do use Complex 90% of the time since its just smarter to transfer one file and extract it on the xbox

And right on the heels of posting that...here's the last few lines of transferring my personal backup of Deus Ex to my Xbox's /F/Games/Deus Ex/ folder...this is after queueing Deus Ex and Dead To Rights before it.  If I shut down the program, requeue the rar, and redo it, it works fine, so it's not the iso or rars.  On top of that I 1) packed the iso myself 2) packed the rars myself.

I get the same 503 error no matter what game (rar or iso) I try.  I have attempted splinter cell 2 and tiger woods 2004.  Here is the error log from tiger woods:

Can anybody help me out here?  Transferring using Flashfxp works perfectly and the game unrars correctly.
